Presentation Overview
Accurate coding and advanced analytics are the foundation of an effective risk adjustment program, particularly when it comes to managing complex patient populations. Now more than ever, health plans are being asked to do just that—while also expanding access to care, driving patient engagement and retention, and improving health outcomes. Organizations that are able to quickly and efficiently surface diagnoses beyond those that are easily identified, map how they affect patient populations, and pinpoint the most effective interventions can reduce gaps in care, improving financial and clinical outcomes in the process.
Andrew is responsible for Episource's Client Services division and ensures that client organizations derive maximum value from their Episource partnerships. He has over 15 years of client relations experience in the healthcare industry and has held a variety of leadership roles with McKesson Corporation, RelayHealth (a division of Change Healthcare), and The Advisory Board Company. Andrew earned his Bachelor's degree in political science and Spanish from Duke University.
Sarah Paine
Director of Risk Adjustment Programs

Sarah is a Director of Risk Adjustment programs and is responsible for data submissions to CMS, the Risk Adjustment Data Validation audit (RADV), medical coding and compliance oversight as well as operational reporting for Anthem Inc. She brings a vast amount of knowledge to this position with over 16 years of experience in the health insurance industry including expertise in commercial risk adjustment, corporate training, claims as well as enrollment & billing. Sarah is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a master’s in business administration as well as a masters in organizational leadership.
